In Australia, three to six children in every thousand have some degree of hearing loss. Over 4,000 students in Victoria are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH).  The Hearing Loss - Strategies for the Classroom Teacher digital teaching resource has been produced for mainstream teachers who may have a primary or secondary student with a hearing loss in their classroom.
