Description

This facilitator-led blended learning course has been co-designed by the Department of Education and Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) to develop understanding and capabilities in:

  • the four stages of individual education planning
  • the five core components of oral language and how student difficulties with these impact learning in the classroom
  • supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • screening tools to inform goal setting, teaching strategies, adjustments and supports.

Term 3 registrations have been paused. Registrations re-open 17 August - 11 September 2026.

Audience

Victorian government school staff and regional staff.

Completion

Successful completion of an Inclusive Classrooms course provides eligibility to claim 15 hours professional learning contributing to relevant association registration requirements.
