Build your understanding of the ABLES assessment and reporting suite to help identify and monitor the learning readiness and progress of students with disability and diverse learners.
Description
ABLES is an assessment and reporting suite for identifying and monitoring the learning readiness and progress of students with disability and diverse learners.
These modules have been developed for Victorian government schools to build the knowledge and skills of teachers and other school professionals by supporting them to:
- understand the purpose of ABLES
- implement ABLES in the classroom and school
- utilise ABLES reporting in their teaching and learning practices.
VDEI recommend the use of Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari (Macintosh users only) as the preferred web browsers to seamlessly register and access this learning.
Audience
Victorian government school and DE staff.
Delivery
Self-paced online modules. Access provided for 4 weeks from registration.
There are 3 ABLES modules. Each module will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes to complete.
Completion
Successful completion of the 3 ABLES modules will generate a completion certificate providing eligibility to claim 2 hours professional learning contributing to relevant association registration requirements.
